Getting Started - Things 1 - 4

I keep telling myself procrastination has more often than not served me well, but this late start may prove me wrong. Waiting until the last minute is a great way to focus your attention and it forces you to be less analytical. I'm surprised it's not one of the 7 1/2 habits :)

Life long learning is unavoidable when working in a library. There's always a reference question or technological problem that will push you into new areas to research, or a new job position will require learning new skills, or at least how to push different paper. And LLL doesn't always mean study - sometimes it's just getting into new situations and activities and finding out more about yourself.

What do I expect to get from this program? I hope to better appreciate all this 2.0 stuff. When evaluating opac features I have to take it on faith that the public value and expect some of the functions because so far I don't quite get what all the fuss is about. I will keep this end in mind (habit 1) and focus on using 2.0 and let it speak for itself.
